Welcome to 4th Grade

     Welcome! This year will be a year of many changes and adjustments. Students will have several teachers this year. We feel that this subject-area rotation is an effective way to begin preparing the students for middle school. 4th grade is a transition year between primary and the greater demands of the intermediate grades.

     We strongly believe that children learn best in a structured, nurturing environment in which parents and teachers work closely together. It will take some time for students to become accustomed to the expectations of 4th grade. We will all survive.
